the yo-yoing community has been extremely positive to me. i love and respect adam for being able to keep his head up and make a balanced, fair and more than anything else POSITIVE post in a thread full of shit.
i don't have much respect for a player who sees someone's video and disrespects it. maybe i'm just a smelly hippie, but when it comes to creative outlets like yo-yoing i'm very much of the "if you can't say something nice..." school. yoyo2 may be the place where yo-yoers come to swear and fart and be stupid vulgar people, but if you look through the posts there's no genuine malice.

anyways, cizrek. i didn't say anything about your character, tricks, or videos in this thread. i just think it's supremely gross that you would do that, regardless of who it was. i feel the same way when anybody does it about a video, freestyle, or even a new yo-yo. i will admit that there was some bias because spencer is my friend, and i feel that i probably connected more with the video and the effort the video represented than some other people did, but it applies to every time that someone says "I don't get why everybody likes it". lots of work went into that, and it's disgusting when someone just puts it down straight. what possible progress can come from that?

I think mindsets like that lead to a lot of broken friendships, relationships, premature divorces, etc. etc. etc. People are invaluable!
Consider this, you can never fully know yourself. There will be things about you to be discovered 'till the day you die. Now then, apply that fact to everyone else you meet, and every day is a new opportunity to grow closer to your friends/family/whoever. As soon as you say, "That's it, I know that there's nothing good to be had from being around you" you limit yourself in a VERY serious way.
