   Hello, Boxthor here.

   As it has been stated before, if you don't like what is on yoyo2, don't browse yoyo2.

   I'd like to address some of the issues that have been brought up, most notably about TAB having "lost respect" for me and Mouko Yamamoto's notion that swearing and sarcasm are for those "lacking substance".

   I am a unique individual, just like everybody else posting here, and I make no apologies for the way I present myself. I do not for one minute make any attempt to portray myself as a role model, and wholeheartedly agree in an instant that I am not everyone's "cup of tea". I use the language I use and do the things I do solely for my enjoyment, and do not think nor expect that I am to get along with everyone.

   While the intent of this thread started off presumably innocently, it has quickly taken a turn for the worse, so stop for a minute to think about what the argument is over, and remember that for the most part, if you don't agree with something or someone, for the most part, nobody is forcing you to interact with it.

   I really hate to sound like a parent, but it seems this is the only way to get it across.

   Nearly everyone on this forum, probably with the exception of me, holds a very powerful position in the yo-yoing community. Jake, Tyler, Boxthor, JonRob, Yuuki all you guys. Future generations will look back at you all as the ones who took the old and created something new. You all are basically in the Steve Brown/2001 position. You are so deeply rooted in yo-yoing, you'll never be able to tear your names off if you try. For a random noob to come go on youtube and see Yuuki's freestyle from Worlds and Nats, and be inspired by it, and start yoyoing because of it, and then find this place and see all the shit that goes on, that's gotta be the most painful thing ever. I don't want to sound like an anti-drug ad, but it's really true. I know that some of you guys just shrug it off with a "I'm not trying to be a role model." Give it up, like it or not, you are a role model. If you're going to keep up all these dumb shit antics, do it in a way that no one will find out. Putting it blatantly on the internet isn't the most secure place. Just because the "underground" yo-yoers fuck around alot doesn't mean that everyone else should. If all yo-yoers participated in this board, yo-yoing would completely fail. Parents would find out, and the AYYA would flip out and start banning people from competing. I know, we're all in the teenage zone, where nothing should be taken seriously. But God fucking dammit, if some random kid comes on here.

   Although I support it, the problem with the "If you don't like it, go away" concept is that the only way people are going to decide the don't like it is by coming for themselves.

   Also Boxthor, bear in mind that Mouko Yamamoto is (for the most part) a complete and utter fool. And I can't even say if it's a good fool or a bad fool.

   I think you need to relax broseidon. They're all still human just like us. They probably didn't sign anything that said "ok once you become famous you can't be yourself anymore" and probably wouldn't have if they were asked to. Why do they have to be fake all the time? Sure, when they're in competition or at a sponsor's event, they should be mature and all that shit. But on the internet? Who gives a shit? Kids really shouldn't have complete freedom on the internet and if they do, they've probably already seen way worse then this. If anything, it's a little refreshing to come on here and see that they are real people just like me and think of the same bullshit I think of with all my buddies. So chill out bropane tank.

   I really think the likely hood of a n00bie coming here *first* is a little off. I mean, it's possible, but with the rise and fame of YYN, and the popularity of II, I really don't think anyone will be popping up here first. If they do, and they read a couple posts they won't know what's up and click out of the shit.

   I don't think there is any harm in us having a place that's not strictly moderated by a whole team of people. I think it's nice being able to be open, if worse comes to worse, make it invite only, or hide the posts from guest views. IF we need a haven that's open and free, I have plenty of server space and bandwidth... Anyways, I don't think it's a big deal.

   When you search for yoyoing, yoyo's, yoyo, etc. This site is no where to be seen, with out the promotion it's really not going to be seen by many, and it's not like the place is getting posted everywhere.

   Have no fear, noobies will be elsewhere.

   Boxy, would you tell someone to "suck a dick" on yoyoing.com and not expect pushback from the users and the people in charge? The fact of the matter is yoyo2.com is a public forum right now that anyone/everyone can read. If this forum was only for the adults who are wicked crude then I would say that you should say anything/everything on your mind... but it isn't. So, unless we get a private forum again then you should keep a lid on it over here and start a blog where you are accountable to nobody but yourself. It looks like you own boxthor.com, I'd gladly host it for ya.

   You really think kids are reading stuff on here that they would'nt hear in there school locker room after PE class or after school bull shitting with there friends or see on jackass or superbad?

   I made a new banner for the forum. as a warning so everyone knows this is uncensored. which, by the way isnt entirely true. but 99.9% of the time its no hold bar. I just draw the line at pedo talk about little yo-yo girls.

    Seth, I see what you're saying in the first part of your post. There is a difference between a friend at school telling you to shut the fuck up, and an important yo-yoer telling you to shut the fuck up. Especially if you're a random kid who isn't exactly "in" the yo-yo community yet. That could completely mess a kid up, and scare him away.

    dont you think a friend would be more influential to the kid then some good yo-yoer the kid tries to copy?

    frankly if a kid is that into yo-yoing that someone hes probably never met influences him more then a friend that he hangs out with every day... well... ya thats fucked up.

    Seth, the difference is that with a friend, you can usually tell if they're serious or not. A band of important yo-yoers on the internet who you've never really interacted with before, it's sometimes hard to tell if they're serious. A 12 year old kid with a stock FhZ who wanders onto this forum is most likely to be scared away for a long time.
