Japan Technology Debut

I don’t know much about Japan Technology, or its new yo-yo, the Kamui. But it looks awesome.

It’s a machined plastic yo-yo, but I’m really interested in the hex nut they fit into it. One problem with some machined plastic yo-yos is they thread right into the plastic and you end up stripping the plastic.

It also has a really interesting shape, an off string h-shape.

And it also uses metal spacers, another good thing for machined plastic yo-yos.

Commnets

  1. Is it made out of delrin?…

About metal spacer and the hex nut… I think just a few yoyos still have problem about this feature.
HF by RooYo has a wonderful metal core for centring and thread.
Don’t know very well other delrin yoyos, but other italian players told me several delrin machined yoyos has metal nuts for axle.

BTW, guess this one would be the first machined yoyo designed for 4A!

    It looks interesting!

  2. i had the chance to test it at the japan nats (as all the best OS players play with it now)

it is, i think, the best OS yoyo ever made, it has no vibe, it spins for a very long time, you can adjust the gap…

it s made of celcon plastic, which is a cousin of the delrin plastic.

the only thing i heard, is that the price might be expensive so wait and see!

  3. is tsubasa sponsored by this now?

    looks good.
