The Project 2. Well at least a prototype. Only 28 of these are made, and I do not know the changes, if any, will be made. But as it stands, it’s a very solid 2nd version.

The basic shape stays true to the basic aesthetics of the Project. grooved profile. Flat rims. But it doesnt take long to see whats been tweaked.

The 2 biggest things that stook out to me were the deeper prifile and the slightly rounded rims.

Inside the Project2 comes with One Drop’s new silicone groove instead of the pad recessed the Original Project had. The gives the design the ability to start the curve closer to the center, which gives a deeper profile.

The other big change was a little more roundness to the rims. This in no was takes away from that feel of the Original Projects, only enhances it for me.
Over all this is a very solid 2nd generation. The precise smooth Lathe operation combined with the classic One Drop nut milling operation makes a very solid feel.
GruntBull Anodizing’s first yoyo, the Orbis.
comes beadblasted and then clear anodized with dark blue and red splash, with .250 x .500 x .187 size flat bearing.
