Duncan is Spinning a new trick

It’s no secret that Duncan has been working on spinning caps similar to “hub stacks”. Finally we get a first look at what they have up there sleeves.
The biggest difference from the Duncan spin caps and those of Yo-Yo Jam’s or Yo-Yo Factory’s is the magnet in the center. It’s rumored that this will be paired with magnetic counter weights.
The big difference in the Duncan spin caps is they do not spin independently of each other. The design uses a hollow axle that has an axle through the center that attach to the caps.

Almost got excited. Last part killed it for me.
It’ll be interesting to see how they center everything so that it doesn’t wobble….easy to do with the Doble when they’re all handmade and you can tune and tweak them. Wonder how they’ll do it with a full production run.
