It’s a Bird! It’s a Plane! It’s a Bassalope!

The First composite mock ups of Sebastian Brock’s new signature yo-yo from Caribou Lodge Yo-Yo Works; The Bassalope

Smaller diameter. Medium Bearing. Semi-deep recess for pads. The yo-yos pictured are not functional. The production Bassalope’s will be aluminum.

Some nice added cosmetic touches to the yo-yo as well. Rumor is we might see working metal protos at Internationals/Worlds!

either this is some weird coincidence or they misspelled BassAlope
Ahh, I’ve seen those on your flickr but I never knew what they were. Pretty sweet:).
Hubs look Fluchsy. Nice.
what are those models made of?
i thought it was soap at first… then wood…
Major props to Bryan of SWAY for making the plastic prototypes for us. Such an awesome dude!! Just posted some CAD models on the CLYW website.
I knew that was bryans desk, I have been in his office far to much.
@ mOON
High density polyurethane foam.
I’m really digging the look of these yo-yos. Great job Chris and Sebby!
Love the ‘lope…!
hot. KEEP THEM WHITE!
blue please blue :p
Looks nice except for the bearing size.
sweet! reminds me somewhat of a project. no doubt CLYW will come up with a super sick paint job for this sukka.
Yes there was some project inspiration. We did the inner diameter of the rim with a slight taper though instead of the flat inner diameter that the project has. Sebby doesn’t do IRGs so there was no need to have one. David at One Drop is well aware and will be getting a nice gift basket when they’re done.
apprish8 that GOON!

Any specs? Also when is it suppose to come out
Look like a Bvm and Peak got busy, had a baby and then someone put schoove rings on the wrong side. I love it!
