Classic and Timeless

As much as I’m a critic of the “garage yo-yo manufactures”, I really enjoy when a group of yo-yoers get together to create a yo-yo for there niche geographic community. Brazil really started it all years ago when mario started Vulto. Mario, and the Brazilian community, had no way of bringing new Brazilian player quality yo-yos because taxes and exchange rates are so high.
This tradition is still strong. Forest has been working on the “Timeless”. A very classic butterfly shaped yo-yo, with an awesome looking finish! Looks like big bearing. O ring response (or silicone if you want to put it in the groove). And maybe Hubstack-able. Check out this post on the Brazil message board for more pictures and info. I hope someone has one of these at Internationals or Worlds!
The subtleties of this yo-yo are on point. It combines so many different aspects of current yo-yo trends. But it brings it all together and makes not just another rip off Anti-Yo/CLYW/Yo-Yo Factory. Even the logo adds to the concept.

Wow!
Looks GREAT!

Will any US players be able be able to obtain one of those? The orange and white is gorgeous.
mad pretty
Just gotta comment again about that perfect gap size. I love seeing yo-yos that aren’t all maxed out.
Jeff
yeah, they seemed to hit the nail on the head design-wise. The all-orange is incredible as well.
Just think if you nput green hubstacks on it, it would totally look like a pumpkin.
Jeff
those look like a really nice shape, but when i saw pic close ups, the finish looked kinda funky. any info on that?
i like the look of it as well. but i bet yoyofactory doesn’t like this. oh well.
it’s a good fucking thing that this is brazil and i don’t think that they can do anything about it = P
specs anyone?
Why wouldn’t YYF like this? Probably give the stack kit more sales.
Jeff
Those things are sweet. I have never thrown one before, but they kind of remind me of a bape based on looks.
I totally don’t see why Benwould care at all. They put hubstacks on the map, but hubstacks are just an innovation really. Look what werd did with Jimmy hats…Honestly, Ben puts out sick yoyos and gets some really cool innovations out there: I doubt he is worrying about companies producing yoyos that use hubstacks, which are pretty much a standard inclusion on any yyf yoyo. The man is past that shit imho…just look at the California and the loop.
the big companies usually don’t like people infringing.
but you are probally right JEFF i don’t think BEN and HANS will really care if the sales roll in.
it’s not like they are ripping off one of there wheels.
just borrowing a design feature.
