You saw the first glimpse of the Yo-Yo Jam Axiom with this yoyo2 post. Now the production pictures have been released.

Around $85. Silicone O rings are slightly recessed (o rings are not recessed in the picture). Are we supposed to take this yo-yo as an axiom? I’m a big fan of story and purpose behind yo-yo graphics and names. But if we are supposed to take this as an axiom of metal yo-yos, that seems a little presumptuous, don’t you think?
The replaceable brass thread nuts are a neat idea in theory. But couldn’t they just make them steel and not worry about replacement at all?

Yoyo Factory is releasing a new 888. Which isn’t as crazy as it was a year ago, but it is the 2nd generation of in my opinon, the best looking 888 of the 07’s.
One half is for Rebecca, one half for John. Large bearing, and is it just me, or dose it look logo-less? Awesome.
I can’t wait to try to bribe someone in 3 years for one.

Just though you should know.
I was checking out some eBay auctions this morning and stumbled across this set of yo-yos Takeshi is selling.
Not only is this Sukeban Deka Freehand being sold (which was really damn hard to come by here in the US) but also a modded FH2 with some interesting caps. From the looks of it Duncan is working with the the new Speed Racer movie to create some awesome promotional yo-yos!
I wonder if these will come with a cool counter weight like the spiked Sukeban Deka one?

Hspin has really gone back to the classic for there newest release. The Good and Evil4.
Smooth widened curves and a perfectly calculated gap.
The recess looks very nice. Flush silicone. The big difference that sets the 4th G&E apart is the solid aluminum construction. No Bi-Metallic rings.
Can’t wait to see more pictures, and play with one!
