What makes the ‘08 888 different you say? well to start off they’ve made it out of a higher alloy grade and they changed the machining process to give it the nice shinny finish. The other cool thing about the new 888s is the axle is ‘floating’. meaning you can unscrew it from the yo-yo and the performance wont be hindered if its off center. And finally the hubstacks are polycarb to reduce the weight. The package also comes with a pair of gloves, replacement axle and o rings, string and a 888 button.

they say the same weight but it plays like a heavier yoyo….sick…go buy em kiddies
This is the finest thing I’ve ever played.
looks amazing. time to get another credit card…
no idea
“The package also comes with a pair of gloves, replacement axle and o rings, string and a 888 button.”
Does it really come with an extra “replacement axle and o rings”??
It didn’t mention in the description page on YoYo Nation.
Can anyone tell me what is the difference in the old packaging of 888 & new packaging of 2008 version of 888? What does each of the packages include?
yes it does.
The old pack came with a string.
Beadblasted Aqua 08 888s shipping to stores next week.
1) So the old packaging of the 1st run just came with a string only?
No gloves, replacement axle and o rings, string or a 888 button?
Can anyone answer this?
2) Why is the the “satin” blue bag for the “Large Bearing” 888 (2008 version) smaller than the “Small Bearing” 888 (2008 version)??
3) Is there any differences between the 2008 “888″ with Black,White or Clear hubstacks?
Could anyone answer the 3 above?
