Umm… An aluminum looping yo-yo? Great, not only is it at least 3 times more then the other looping yo-yos, but that is going to HURT LIKE HELL when it hits you.
More over, on X-YO’s site it states “Ixion’s wheel optimized for loop[ing] trick[s]”. By the looks of the shape thats going to be poor at looping due to the aerodynamics of the shape. Also, there is a lot of rim weight which will cause the yo-yo to flop to the side while looping. Steve, correct me if I’m wrong on this.
pure and simple, $140 for a pair of looping yo-yos that look like they’ll loop worse then a $20-30 pair. Bummer.
