Looks like the German’s stepping into the Metal yo-yo scene. The first yo-yo from ILOVEYOYO is the E1NS. An undersized, aluminum, big bearing, friction sticker yo-yo. Check it out at Yo-Yo Nation, which is the exclusive carrier of the E1NS.
Looking at the pictures of the yo-yo, it looks pretty neat. The axle does worry me a little. Doesn’t look like there are many threads for the axle. And at 75 grams, sounds like it will definitely have a different feel. But it might be hard to get ahold of one. Only 20 were made, and YYN only had 6.
*Update: according to Pat, these were just prototypes of the E1NS. The production run will be lighter (66 grams) and there will be more units avalable*

You know that odd orangish cream G5 I posted a few days ago? Well heres what it turned out to be! The Yo-Yo Factory G5 SABOTAGE Edition. Sick color, nice new graphics. And limited, VERY limited.
Duncan Toys has launched their brand new website! The really neat thing about the Duncan site is you can pick different themes for viewing. Feel like viewing the site giant monster style? Click on Mongu. Feel like pillaging and plundering the site? Click on the Yo-Yo Viking. Another neat bit of info that can be found on the site is the release of a Duncan Comicbook series. And chekc out a hi res pic of all 4 comic covers here.

So the Miroc2 has dropped at Yo-Yo Nation.com at 5:30est. there are now 2 left (as of this post). Anything new that hits is gone faster then beer at Steve Brown’s house.

here is a better picture… looking forward to this colorway. Since Ben decided not to hook me up with a Grind Mutant looks like this will be my alternative. Not bad.
theres also been some talk of bearing top tips for the G5… set to drop in a few weeks.

Frank Difeo has posted this picture of his newest yo-yo, the CrossBones.
A Bare Bones with a Tank axle setup and 2 grams removed from the center for more rim weight percentage and spin time.
The logo stud is shorter with the thumb/oring groove closer to the center of the yoyo for easier thumb grinds with more spin stability.
The Cross Bones weighs 66 grams.
With weight rings installed, 73 grams.
Comes with the signature Dif-e-Yo Kon Kave bearing and Dif-Pads.
The Milling looks awesome!
Welcome to the blog. Hah. Seth did an excellent job of getting this show on the road, and we finally got all his entries imported and what not. So stay tuned. We will be writing up some of the dopest of yoyo and streetwear stuff. Oh yea.

Yo-Yo Nation has dropped one of the hippest limited edition Freehand Zeros I’ve seen. This is defiantly up there with the Hyper Freehand and Japan Crew editions. And to show off those electric blue caps the body a bright orange. You can’t see it from the picture, but from what I hear, there more neon then the Japan Crew edition (which was as a creamy orange). Top notch work Pat and Weber. And only $24.99.

I just got a nice email from Paul Yath with these pictures in it. According to Paul, this is the first of a series of yo-yos produced under the same name as his clothing label, Born Crucial. The Milk is a 64 gram delrin yo-yo with some really neat features. As you can see, it comes with a SPR variation that houses o rings, but if you want a different size bearing, or a sticker response, just pop the o ring SPR out and put in any stock Buzz-On SPR. The other really exciting thing about this yo-yo is it has METAL threaded inserts for the axle, not the softer, weak delrin like others use. On top of it all, 2 new PYFT response materials. No word on exactly what they are, but from the sounds of it, very nice quality stuff. With all these well planed features, good weight, and a shape inspired by the Oxy4, this looks to be a solid first start is his own designs.
Not official drop date for the Milk, but expect to see his first line of clothing, Born Crucial, in fall of 2007.

So it’s official. Kiya is the yo-yo scenes connection to everything good. A lot of us see Kiya at contests and some guy with killer sneakers and nice jeans. What some of you may not know is it goes deeper then that. Kiya is doing the same thing for selvedge denim that he and Sonny did for aluminum yo-yos. Take a very small part of the scene and make it more available, and cool. This article by 3sixteen.com has some very interesting insight on the streetwear culture, a lot of which I see happening with the yo-yo scene. Hype, minimal innovation and a whole lot of the same thing. Kiya has some intereesting comments regarding the mission statement of Ani-Yo…
“It’s the same reason I started Anti-Yo; I love the scene so I wanted to have a creative output within the scene and also see where I can take my own company… We make high end expensive metal yoyos, skate decks, clothing, etc. We’re the largest metal yoyo manufacturer in the world, our products are sold in 9 countries and many online stores and we have a team that we travel with all over the world.”
All this press, on top it all, yesterday the Busine$$ officially dropped. Can’t wait to get mine.
